International Year of Astronomy in Ireland

IOP president, Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, was voted one of the most inspirational women scientists of all time in an online poll run by the New Scientist. Ranked fourth in the pool, Jocelyn was voted as the top living woman scientist.
