The Priory, Cork
Denis Walsh held a star party by himself in The Priory, Redemption Road, Cork on April 4th for 100 Hours.
"Just to report the Star Party went very well, with a few nuns now made aware of global astronomy, and me and my dog with Celestron Skymaster binos 15x70 focused at infinity through nikon coolpix p80 on a second tripod. "iso" was set at 64 for this one, optical zoom at about 3.5x to be "exposed" manually at f/4 and 1/60th sec. Conditions were near calm and after sunset at 1950h UT thin peppery cloud covered the Moon. Thanks for your support and may we both live long and prosper, as they say. 12 people attended, no images with people - just a Moon image."
